"My my, at Waterloo Napoleon did surrender
Oh yeah, and I have met my destiny in quite a similar way
The history book on the shelf
Is always repeating itself"
Yes that's right kids. Today Gyroscope will play at the place mentioned in the song made famous by the greatest band to ever live, Abba! To mark this great day I made my way down to a nearby costume shop and found some 70's clothes and wigs so that tonight we can become Gyroba the Abba tribute group.
No Gyro songs tonight instead we will slip into the past with covers of hits like Waterloo and Dancing Queen. Dancing Queen is Dan's fave song in the whole wide world, he may claim it to be some song by Alkaline Trio or Nirvana but I know the truth after I caught him singing it while he slept.
Zok and I are going to be the guys in it. While Dan of course is Agnetha the blonde, pretty girl and Brad gets to be the other girl. I wonder if any of Abba will be there tonight? I bet they work in the office or are barmen at the very least.
Now the only thing I have to do is find some a Swedish backpacker so I can learn some basic Swedish or whatever they speak, so it sounds authentic. Oh I might want to tell the others about my plans for tonight too.
