Gyroscope's 2002 EP, Take Time, allows us to track the progress of this powerful Perth 4-piece and gauge their development into one of 2003's most obvious improvers. If anything, the lads have added an extra edge to their sound since Take Time but strengths such as interesting arrangements, passionate playing and duelling guitar melodies are instantly evident from the outset. I think this band will be massive and Take Time, as with the debuts of all important acts, will attract the attention of fans as they rewind through the back-catalogue.
