• Gyroscope is not Dan's first band. "Think that was NoStar. I remember that it was a Sonic Youth inspired name. It was just me and a couple of mates from school back in 1995 or something. We played one show, sucked so our drummer sold his kit and bought a motorbike"
• Zoran and Brad went to the same high school and played in a band together playing Metallica covers when they were about 14.

• If your life is ever in danger don't ask Rob for help. He's completely oblivious to the outside world and has a really bad memory. Not even physical abuse(on him) can get his attention!
• If you want to give a band member something it's best you do it personally. Don't ever give it to Brad. Australia Post is more reliable.

• Brad: Brad is actually the strongest guy in the band, if not the world.
• Zoran: Zok likes to talk like a chipmunk when he is drunk...Alvin to be specific. He also loves giving it the bushman's blow onstage (I'm not sure I want to know what that is…)

• According to Rob, Dan likes to wear 3 to 4 layers of clothing at a time, including summer. "sometimes he actually has three pairs of jeans on!"
• Rob is like Ernest(you surely must've seen at least ONE Ernest movie!) when it comes to clothing. They all look the same...check…check….check…
• Zok would be almost perfect...if it weren't for his sock fetish...what's with that?!?
• Brads believes in the 'big is beautiful' tag….
• When asked if he wears boxers or briefs Brad answered both.
• Apparently someone loved Brad's hair so much he offered to pay $6,000 for it

• Rob - Boundary umpiring footy on weekends. "I got used to copping a whole lot of abuse from the drunken folks in the pavilion. I was raking in $45 a game...not bad". He then developed schizophrenia and worked at Myers.
• Dan - Delivering the local paper on my push bike. Pulling in mad cash money ($40 a month). He also worked in a bike shop.
• Brad was a trolley boy at Woolworths.
• Zoran has never worked a day in his life [My Idol!]

• They can read. Mostly books on dead or almost-dead rock stars.
• Dan is a born liar.

• They're travelers. Rob's been to Canada, the others have been to Bunbury.
• They've all been to Texas where Rob blended in with the locals.

• Gyroscope are big fans of popstars. Zok likes Holly Valance and Rob likes Bryan Adams.
• Rob listens to Creedence Clearwater Revival. Its best you ask your folks about them cos you won't find them on Video Hits! (Unless they have a flashback, that or DJ Sammy kills one of their songs) If you've ever watched American Werewolf in London one of their songs is featured in that.
• Rob has admitted to Melancholy and the Infinite Sadness by the Smashing Pumpkins being his first musical influence. "This was the album that really got me into music!!! Do yourself a favour and listen to the drummer Jimmy Chamberlin...Damn!" hmm….no I'd rather listen to Billy myself…
• Brad loves The Music.
• Dan is obsessed with Ugly Kid Joe and likes the Beach Boys. Now before anyone trashes them…gotta give them credit..one of them leant his house to Charles Manson!!!
• Robs fav bands are Weezer, Smashing Pumpkins, Alkaline trio, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Thursday, RFTC, Times Up, Muse, Jebediah, Coldplay, El Horizonte, the Beatles, Pretty Girls make Graves, Coxy, Metallica (no not really) Faith No More.

• Rob - If you were in a bar and noticed the partner of your dreams sitting alone and you were given ten words to say to them, what would they be? .So do you come here often? No just kidding how about "Your eyes, remind me of the star's in the sky..." or "Nice shoes, wanna..." hmmm as you can see im not really good at this...hence the reason girls should go up to guys more.
• Dan - If you were in a bar and noticed the partner of your dreams sitting alone and you were given ten words to say to them, what would they be? ."Will you marry me if I buy you a beer?" .

• Rob - If you weren't in a band, what would you be doing right now? .I'd probably be travelling around the world... I love to travel so maybe teaching English in Japan, doing camp America thing or working a ski season in Canada.

• Dan - Embarrasing thing you've done on tour? .Not involving embarrassment towards me, but the old 'drawing dicks on the face of the guy who passes out first' is good for that. We were in Kalgoorlie a couple of years back, Brad and myself were the only 2 still alive in the early hours of the morning and we were sooo fucking messy, and we found a texta, took to Zoks face and head, and then in the morning told the other guys not to tell him so we went and got food. He then received a lot of wierd looks, and him asking locals for directions which these big cocks scribbled all over him was priceless. Only when we were about 50kms from home he caught his reflection in the van window and realised.
• Dan part 2 - I was once really really drunk and living with 2 best mates.. anyhow, one night I was totally comfortable in bed and needed the toilet but it was cold and too far, so I opened up a window, pushed the flyscreen out, and pissed out.. only to realise in the morning one of the guys cars was out there.. that stain on your bonnet? sorry dude.

• The clip "Fire Away" was filmed in Melbourne's Spencer Street railway station.
  'Fire Away' and 'Midnight Express' were produced by Matt Weston from the band called 'The Nation Blue'
  Dan, Rob and Zok can be seen in the Jebediah video clip for N.D.C. Brad is prolly there too. Just that they're scene is literally a blink and you'll miss it job that we can't tell. (His hair wasn't big enough to give him away back then)
• Save the Last Match - "We used a guy called Andrew Milner who has done a lot of other bands such as Team Jedi and Cartman. He came down to both of our cd launches and grabbed some live footage and snippets of us before and after the shows. We chose "Save The Last Match" because we thought it would be a good introduction to people who have never heard of us before. We are really happy with the end result of the video" - Brad

• Rob - Who has the worst music taste in the van? And What Is It? .I've got to say that collectively as a band we all have pretty good taste...I think our manager if anyone has probably got the worst music taste. He loves his introspective Indy bands who write 15 minute songs...other than that we are doing ok.

• Rob - Who produces the worst "van smells"? .Zok for sure...give this man half an excuse to let one rip and he will. Brad...is the quite achiever - I'm silent death and Dan well lets just say his farts smell better than his deodorant.
• Dan - Dude, my farts honestly smell like roses. It's like when you walk through a beautiful, flower filled garden. That's what they smell like. But on the other hand, Zok's stink sooo bad.

• Rob - I like to bite my toe nails

• Rob - Who parties the hardest?.I think its fair to say that I definitely party the hardest in the band. Mind you I also happen to be the only guy in the band without a girlfriend...I think the two may be related in some way!.
• Rob - Who parties the least? .Tough call, because the other three guys still love to party as well and our last few trips to Melbourne have included some huge nights out. Props going out to Cath, Sonia and Melbourne for putting up with us.

• Rob - Who gets stuck with the driving? .Matt our manager. Got to love him...except when he drives through red lights, breaks late and all most rides off the side of the road.
• Brad: Usually Matt, our manager, I'm the stunt driver and Dan is our long distance driver, Matt's just the every day getting us lost driver. (Kat: Matt did a pretty nifty u-turn at the Midnight Express though... then again if he had got lost at the back of the amplifier.,, no further comment needed I think)
